Sports247 reports that Arsenal will open up a 10-point cushion over Manchester City if The Gunners beat Everton next Saturday at Emirates Stadium, and Saka stressed that they are determined to get it done.
Saka, who struck a first-half winner at Brighton on Wednesday night to move his side seven points clear of City, further played down recent critical comments tagging his side’s approach as boring.
The Nigerian-born England international added that their focus is fully placed on winning the English Premier League title this season, hence their determination not to allow distractions becloud their target.
He further pointed out that playing to the gallery and showboating will not be a good approach to their remaining games in this crucial stage of the title charge, where points now matter more than entertainment.
“People will say whatever they want to see, whether we play the most beautiful football or if we score from a set-piece, they will still talk.
“For us, we just want to win games and we are now getting closer to the end of the season. We just want to continue going our way, winning,” Saka said.
