The stage is officially set for a fiery Lagos boxing night as Oluwasegun “Bouncing” Mustapha will go toe-to-toe with Oluwatoyin Omotosho in an eight-round super-welterweight clash on December 28 at the Campos Mini Stadium, Lagos Island, under the De Lad’s Boxing Promotion card.
Both fighters have wasted no time firing early shots ahead of their high-stakes battle.

Mustapha, brimming with confidence, warned his opponent to expect a long, painful night.
“I’m coming with pressure from the first bell,” Mustapha declared. “Omotosho has never faced a fighter like me. Lagos will witness a knockout — and it won’t be my head hitting the canvas.”
Omotosho, unfazed by the threats, fired back with equal intensity.
“Mustapha is talking too much,” he said. “On December 28, he’ll understand that boxing is not noise — it’s skill, power and heart. I’m going to silence him in front of his own crowd.”
The super-welterweight contest has already become one of the most anticipated bouts on the card, with fans expecting fireworks long before either man steps into the ring.
Promoters have promised a high-energy boxing festival to close out the year, but all eyes will be on the Mustapha–Omotosho feud, which now carries the scent of genuine rivalry.
December 28 can’t come soon enough.
