Bolowotan Hails Super Eagles’ Grit, Urges Support Amidst AFCON Final Loss

According to him, “These boys fight from the beginning to the final. The final may look very difficult but we are not disgraced and I’m also calling on everyone that is bullying our players on social media that this is not called for at all. There is a difference between critics and criticism. When we criticise, let’s be good critics that channel the solution rather than condemnation.”

Reflecting on the challenges faced by the players, Bolowotan drew parallels to life’s unpredictable circumstances, noting, “These players did their best, in the work of life. I’ve seen a student who was well prepared for an exam and during the examination some things happen that cause a very brilliant student not to perform well. It is life. Everyone is human, things do happen and nothing happens by mistake.”
