The management of Blessed Stars Football Academy in Uyo during a press briefing stated that it has started the recruiting of new players for the 2021/2022 season.
Mr. Moses Ukpong the co-founder of the team was with newsmen when he announced also that his team will be recruiting more players this season to enable them compete and meet the high demand of players needed by its scouts, agents and partners in and outside of Nigeria.
In a twisted event, the management also disclosed that they will be participating the 2022 Akwa Ibom State Grassroot League which is hosted by Marshal Mbre in collaboration with Akwa Ibom State Football Association.
Mr. Moses Ukpong said “We will not only participate, but we will emerge winners as it has always been the case. My players are ready and fit, and the coaches are determined to see it through.”
The team had recently been announced the winner of the Akwa Ibom Christmas Village 7 aside tournament last December.
