Bet9ja Ekiti Triple Slam Set To Rock Ekiti State 

Creativity and ingenuity come to the fore once again as Bet9ja Foundation is set to rock Ekiti State with an epochal event, Bet9ja Ekiti Triple Slam, tagged BETS, which is a sweet admixture of sports, dance, and music.

In an introductory but brief press statement, according to the Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix Athletics Sports Limited, Bayo Olanlege, the idea behind the sportainment show, which is powered by Bet9ja Foundation, is to recreate a long-existing tradition of mixing sports with entertainment and of course, to create a veritable platform that would engage Ekiti youths who are 18 years and above, gainfully.

Olanlege, who until recently, was the Chairman of Ekiti State Football Association, further stated that the csportainment showpiece would positively change the narratives in the sports and entertainment sectors in the state, which he acknowledged to have lots of tertiary institutions and with thousands of students brimming with energetic vibes that need to be catered for on very positive platforms.

The widely renowned and resourceful sports administrator cum businessman added,  “Ekiti has a lot of tertiary institutions hence thousands of students who are eager to entertain and be entertained.

A higher percentage of the students in the tertiary institutions crave for a platform other than the usual night clubbing and sports competition that often carry a load full of pressure with it.”

“Though Bet9ja Ekiti Triple Slam, BETS, is designed as an annual event, the activities involved in preparing for the event by the participating packs will take months. A pack is made up of 4 boys and 4 girls, a 3v3 basketball team, and a rapper. Therefore, a pack has a mix of 12 boys and girls,” he explained.
