This quarterly showdown features a unique, high-intensity format. Each participating team will register 20 players, divided into two distinct squads of seven players each, plus three substitutes per side.
No player will be allowed to feature in both halves — meaning every member must step up and deliver when it’s their turn.
Every match will be a 24-minute spectacle: the first 12 minutes played by “Set A” players, the second 12 minutes by “Set B” players. Organizers call it the ultimate competition, designed to showcase depth, strategy, and the unfiltered energy of recreational football.
Beyond the trophy and the cash, the Showtime Arena Quarterly Cup is fast becoming a cultural fixture, bringing neighborhoods together, reviving old rivalries, and giving grassroots players a professional-stage experience.
“This is Lagos football at its rawest and most exciting. The Quarterly Cup is more than a game — it’s pride, passion, and community all rolled into one,” said one of the organizers.
With kickoff just hours away, anticipation is running high. For fans, the Showtime Arena Quarterly Cup 2025 is where the best of recreational football comes alive — and where legends are made every three months.
