In the previous weeks, the housemates of the current Big Brother Naija TV reality show have not succeeded in winning their weekly wager. The third week was their moment of glory as they finally hit the jackpot with their wager. During last week’s eviction, the show host Ebuka reminded them about the necessity to win their weekly wagers and other benefits that come with it.
This galvanized the new head of house Ozo, to show great leadership skills and tenacity to make sure his housemates did not fail in the task for the week. The wager task for this week was supposed to be a musical drama, and although the big brother did not give any hint of what he expected to see, the housemates used their own intuitions and experiences to come up with an intriguing storyline in form of a musical. Although, it was difficult to differentiate a musical from a drama. What they needed to do was to act a drama and include musical performances.
As masterminded by Tricky tee, the drama saw Prince (a rich businessman) try to force a marriage between him and Erica (who was in love with another guy, but not Prince). Erica was in love with Neo, and although Neo did not have the money to impress her as Prince did, their love was fairly strong. Erica’s father (Tochi), was supportive of her union with Prince because he owed him a great deal, but the young lady refused to be swayed from the love of her life. After several scenes and performances, love won at last as she was able to be with her dear Neo.
Biggie could not play down their efforts this time, and he rewarded them for the successful completion of their wager task. Two men are due for praise for this accomplishment, while the first would be the Head of House for the week Ozo, the second was the one in charge of directing the movie (Tricky tee).
In soccer, the team captain is always the source of inspiration. Looking back at how Sergio Ramos motivated Real Madrid to win the La Liga title last season, Ozo’s heroics can be compared to that of Sergio Ramos.
