Speaking to Bundesliga International, Tella revealed his disappointment at missing out on the opportunity to represent Nigeria in Africa’s premier football competition.

Despite his hopes of making the squad, Tella ultimately watched from the sidelines as Nigeria finished as runners-up in the tournament.

Reflecting on his international experience so far, Tella expressed gratitude for the opportunity to play for Nigeria, noting that it fulfilled a lifelong ambition to compete at the highest level of international football.

“It was good playing for Nigeria. I have always wanted to play international football.

I never played international football when I was younger,” Tella told Bundesliga International

With aspirations to continue his impressive performances at Bayer Leverkusen and earn more opportunities on the international stage, Tella’s determination and talent are sure to make him a player to watch in the coming seasons.
