Bayelsa Queens Announce Signing of Two New Players for 2025/26 Season

Bayelsa Queens FC have announced the signing of two new players ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Women’s Football League Premiership (NWFL) season.

The new additions are attacker Ojiyovwi Keseina Tessy and defensive midfielder Nwachukwu Prisca.

Tessy joins the Yenagoa-based club from Nasarawa Amazons, while Prisca arrives from Imo Strikers. Prisca was on loan to Heartland of Owerri during the 2024/25 season and was part of the Nigeria U-20 women’s team that recently faced Rwanda.

Established in 2000, Bayelsa Queens FC play their home matches at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Ovom, Yenagoa. The club has continued to grow in stature, attracting a vibrant fan base and maintaining strong ambitions of winning more laurels for Bayelsa State.

The management of Bayelsa Queens expressed optimism that the new signings will strengthen the squad and boost their campaign in the upcoming season.
