Bayan James Admits Improvement Of His Team, Ahead Of Surulere League Despite 1-0 Loss To Team Lagos

Despite his team’s 1-0 loss to Team Lagos in a friendly match on Friday, Coach of Broad City Fc, James Bayan has admitted his team’s improvement, as they prepare for the upcoming Surulere League, which commences in February.

James Bayan’s side narrowly lost 1-0 to Team Lagos on Friday in a warm-up game, as to aim to prepare strongly for the Surulere League.

Reacting with Sports247 after his team’s loss, Coach of Broad City Fc, James Bayan commended the efforts of his players, most especially playing against a strong side like Team Lagos and losing narrowly. He admitted that his team’s improvement in all departments, stating that he was very impressed with the performance, despite the loss.

“I love the game. I can see that my boys are improving in all departments of the team. They are putting all we taught them in training on the field of play. I am so impressed with the team and I really commend the players, because looking at the side that we played against (Team Lagos), they are a very good side, from their defense to the attack, they are very good”, he admitted.

When being asked what’s next for his team, Broad City Fc, the Amazing Manager stated that they have lined up another friendly game, so as to continue their preparations for the Surulere League, stating that they aim to win the competition.

“The next thing for us to go to Ijebu Ode to play another friendly match, and I believe that by the Special Grace of God, we will win it. Our target is to win the Surulere League when it kicks off in February and I believe that we can do it,” he added.

James Bayan is an Ex Nigerian International, who played for Warri Wolves and Bayelsa United, during his playing days.
