“Immediately His excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde gave us the go ahead to continue, we swung into action and we have been working assidiously to present a very solid squad for the season.

” We can’t afford to disappoint the sport loving governor and the good people of Oyo State as well as fans of the club all over the world.

” With what we have on ground, I can beat my chest that we are more than ready but I am, on behalf of the players and the entire team, appealing to our people to please, ,eschew any form of bitterness and hatred and join hands to work for the progress of the team,”

“Some should not be pulling down while others are lifting up, this won’t do the team any good, it is a collective responsibility, Balogun added.
