As Nigerians mourn the sudden demise of two great promising sports stars: Kano Pillars FC Team Manager, Kabiru Baleria and Remo Stars FC player, Tiamiyu Kazeem, the Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike, J.P has described their demise as a big blow to the sporting world.

Chief Ejidike in a press statement noted that the increasing record of deaths among the sports family is devastating and heart breaking and called on everyone to pray against future occurrences.

The sports philanthropist who lamented the circumstances of deaths of these promising stars sounded that there is urgent need to purge the system of these traumas.

He referenced the brutal killing of Tiamiyu Kazeem by the operations of SARS as a result of excessiveness and mental dehydration .

Coach Kabiru Baleria according to Nigeria Pillar of sports was a promising gaffer who gave his best as a former U-17 and U-20 national teams coach even as his records in Kano Pillars spoke volumes.

“We are sober, we are really sad about their sudden departure, May the Creator grant them eternal rest. We join other distinguished Nigerians in mourning over the void created by their departure, they left us suddenly, we loved them dearly and my words to everyone is that Let’s continue to pray for their families and sports family as we express our condolences .”
