Badagry United, Messiah Gear Up For Jagaban Cup

Badagry United Football Club have started preparation ahead of Jagaban Cup scheduled to kick off 15, November at the Mobolaji Bank-Anthony stadium Onikan.

Sporting Director of Badagry United Musa Danladi confirmed to sports247.ng that his team have intensified their preparation considering the teams invitation for the three days tournament.
“The organisers have notified us about the competition, venue and teams that are coming for the tourney.We observed that there are NNL and NLO clubs taking part in the tournament, so we have intensified preparation in order to do well in the tournament,”he said.

Danladi boast that his team would be in good shape for the tournament saying that the team is not afraid of any club.
“We came to Badagry league, nobody gave us a chance and we eventually became the winners.We also did well in Ekofootball and last Lagos FA Cup so we are coming to Jagaban Cup to shock the big teams,”he concluded.

In a related development, Messiah FC would resume training next week ahead jagaban Cup.
Messiah team manager, Deji Beecroft confirmed that the club would fully resume training next week in preparation for the new NLO season and jagaban Cup.

He however thanked the players and coaching crew for the success of last season and charged them to remain committed and steadfast in future matches.

Other teams invited for jagaban Cup are De-Potters of Epe, FC Bethel, 36 Lion,Jo Sportyne FC,Smart City,Okukismet FC, Ekiti, MFM and Ikorodu City.
