The Egbeda Local Government area of Oyo State was at a standstill as Youths and Association of Nigeria Unity of Taylor recognized the contributions of the Ace Yoruba Sports Presenter, Alhaji Babatunde Saheed as he received the award of Jagaban of Yoruba Sports Presenter for the year 2020.
The award which was facilitated by the youths in the area is an appreciation of his unrivaled presentation in sports presenting condiment with rich contents, sonorous voicing and of course, his philanthropic nature in the state is second to none
The organizers said ”there can never be any other person with the texture of impact and delivery merit this award other than Alhaji Babatunde Saheed, the Role Model whose character is much adored by all and sundry”
The award of excellence which was presented during the Annual Celebration of the Union of Taylor in the area had in attendance the creme la the creme of the society drawn from all works of life
The Role Model as the awardee is fondly called is the CEO Al-Haliya Hajj and Humrah services which prides itself as one of the best traveling outfits in Nigeria with smooth traveling arrangements to Mecca and other parts of the world
He’s also the founder of the Role Model Entertainment that has produced the great gospel musician, Yinka Ayefele, Fuji maestro, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma amongst others. He is a member of Oyo SWAN and Chairman Ramadan lectures for the Association in the last few years
Mr. Sports has been able to use his fortune to aid a good road network in his area and a giant feat that in turn earned him the exalted position of Chairman Landlord Association of the area at Oluyole Local Government of Ibadan.
He is one who creates buzz with video of streaming his annual table tennis competition. Also, the Role Model Fans Club football championship played at Shasha, Ojoo area of Akinyele Local Government is a testament to his youth engagement drive in the state
The award of Jagaban of Yoruba Sports Presenter for the year 2020 was presented to him by the Chairman of the Association in the branch and the Ibadan born Icon donated a sum amount of money to both the association and the youths in the area.
