The much talked about 3rd Awo Youth Cup begins this Friday with a clash between Awoniyi Football Academy and Dollar FC at Ogijo Community School, Sports247 gathered.
The competition’s media officer, Ralph Esene disclosed that the game, which is scheduled to start at 2:30pm, will be in the under-17 category of the competition that is returning after seven years’ absence.

Esene assured that Awo Cup 2025 promises to be more exciting than the debut in 2018 and the second edition of the following year.
He pointed out that the competition’s Belgium-based sponsor, Emmanuel Olakunle Awosanmi has set aside a special package that will make this third edition more captivating than any other before it in the rustic community.
Sports247 gathered further that the competition will continue on Saturday with more under-17 games, as Buqueson take on Invisible United at 1:30pm, while Rehoboth will tango Osa FC at 2pm on Sunday.
Matches will also take place in the under-13 category on Saturday and Sunday, with kick-off at 11am and 12pm respectively, as Awo Cup 2025 enters full steam at the border town between Lagos and Ogun States.
