Dar es Salaam — Singida Black Stars have fulfilled the promise of midfielder Khalid Aucho, defeating Rayon Sports 2–1 in the second leg at Azam Complex and advancing to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup with a 3–1 aggregate scoreline.
The Rwandan side struck first through Tambwe Gloire in the 39th minute, but Singida responded strongly. Idriss Diomande equalized just before halftime (44′), and Anthony Tra Bi Tra sealed the tie with the winner in the 58th minute.

Aucho’s pre-match assurances that their squad — bolstered by good preparation — would do enough at home proved justified, as Singida held on against a determined Rayon Sports side.
With the result, Singida Black Stars continue their continental campaign in confident fashion, while Rayon Sports’ journey in the CAF competition comes to an end.
