Alhaji Attahiru Ibrahim has congratulated the new SA sports to Governor Abdulrahman of Kwara State after meeting him at the ongoing annual Patigi Sports Festival.
Following his resignation as SA Sports, Umar Mohammed Attahiru who’s also an indigene of Patigi was named as replacement for Attahiru Ibrahim.
It will be recalled that Attahiru Ibrahim cited personal reason as rationale behind his decision to walk away.
And on Sunday, 26 December, the two Attahirus met in Patigi where they both exchanged pleasantries at the Sports Festival.
While reacting to him meeting Umar Mohammed, Mallam Attahiru Ibrahim hailed the new SA sports for the respect and regards he accorded him in Patigi.
“I must confess that I’m impressed with the respect and humility of the new SA sports as he greeted me well and showed me respect at the Sports Festival.
“I am however using this medium to congratulate him on his appointment and wishing him the very best in office.” Alhaji Attahiru Ibrahim explained to award winning Sports Journalist Ibitoye Shittu.
In his usual ways of making Kwarans happy, it will be recalled that Alhaji Attahiru Ibrahim rolled out the sum of 400K for Christian members in Kwara Sports to celebrate Xmas.
