Atlantic Business FC have announced the departure of their Head Coach Japhet and his Assistant Coach, bringing an end to their respective tenures with the club after two years of competitive football and notable achievements.
Sports247 reports that the club confirmed the decision in an official statement, thanking both coaches for their service, commitment and contributions while wishing them success in their future endeavours.

Japhet leaves the club after overseeing one of Atlantic Business FC’s most competitive periods, guiding the team to silverware, strong league finishes and appearances in major finals.
Under his leadership, Atlantic Business FC enjoyed a successful 2025/26 campaign, winning the TCC Cup before adding another trophy to their collection as TCC Super Cup champions.
The team also demonstrated its competitiveness across other major competitions, reaching the Youth League Super Cup final and the Africa Elites Cup final.
The achievements represent a significant part of Japhet’s two-year spell and provide a strong record for the outgoing coach as he begins the next chapter of his career.
Following the departure of the technical team, the club has moved to ensure stability within the first-team structure. Technical Director Olayinka Adiro will assume interim charge of the first team until further notice.
Adiro will oversee the team during the transition period as Atlantic Business FC look to maintain the standards established under Japhet while determining their long-term technical direction.
The change brings an end to a period in which the club competed successfully for honours and established itself as a serious contender across multiple competitions.
For Japhet, the departure closes a two-year chapter defined by trophies, finals and sustained competitiveness. For Atlantic Business FC, attention now shifts towards the future and ensuring that the momentum built during his tenure is carried into the next phase.
