Asaba Matches Will All Commence At 4pm – NFF

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have confirmed 4pm kick-off for all three matches coming up at Stephen Keshi International Stadium in the coming days, sports247.ng reports.

 

Two of the upcoming matches will involve the senior national team, Super Eagles, while the third, which will be sandwiched between the main squad’s couple of games, will be for the under-23 side, Olympic Eagles.

A statement by NFF’s media department affirmed that the Eagles will play Seychelles this Friday in their last match of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, before again lining out at same venue on Tuesday against Egypt in an international friendly, both starting at 4pm.

Also at same venue and time 24 hours before the Nigeria/Egypt friendly, the Olympic Eagfles will tango Libya in the reverse fixture of their 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifier, the first leg of which will hold this Wednesday in Bergandan, Tunisia.

NFF also disclosed plans for the media for all three international games in the Delta State capital, as officials at the information department of The Glasshouse rolled out details of arrangement for the three matches.

The department stated in a release: “The Super Eagles will confront the Pirates of Seychelles in a 2019 AFCON qualifying match at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on Friday, 22nd March 2019, starting from 4pm.

“On Monday, 25th March, starting from 4pm, the U23 National Team, Olympic Eagles, will trade tackles with their counterparts from Libya in a 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations first round, second leg match at the same venue.
“Still at the same Stephen Keshi Stadium, the Super Eagles will go up against the Pharaohs of Egypt in a prestige International Friendly Match, on Tuesday, 26th March 2019, starting at 4pm as well.

“The accreditation cards for Nigeria/Seychelles match will be issued at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba as from 6pm on Thursday, 21st March 2019, while those for Nigeria/Libya (U23 AFCON Qualifier) and Nigeria/Egypt (Senior Friendly) will be issued as from 6pm on Sunday, 24th March 2019.”
