Wolverhampton Wanderers of England striker, Tolu Arokodare will return to his English Premier League club to find a new coach waiting for him after he features for Nigeria at the 2026 World Cup qualification play-offs in Morocco.
Sports247 gathered that the new gaffer Arokodare will play under at Wolves is former Middlesbrough handler, Rob Edwards, who was confirmed for the job on Sunday evening.
It would be a kind of continuum with Nigerian links for Edwards, as he was in charge of Kelechi Iheanacho for the second half of last season, after the UAE 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup gold medalist and most valuable player joined Boro on loan from Sevilla of Spain.

While Iheanacho has since moved on to Celtic of Scotland and is currently out with injury, Arokodare will return from national team duty to meet Edwards at The Molineux Stadium.
This is sequel to a report out of England that Edwards has agreed to a three-and-a-half year deal to become the next manager at the embattled Wolves, who signed Arokodare in the summer from RKC Genk of Belgium.
While Middlesbrough stand to get between £3m and £4m in compensation, Arokodare will hope for better fortunes under the new man, compared to the torrid period he faced with the previous coach, Vitor Pereira.
The report added: “Edwards had been in talks with Wolves since Saturday after he was stood down from Boro’s Championship game against Birmingham and given permission to speak to Molineux chiefs.
“A formal announcement is expected in the next 24-48 hours, with Edwards set to take over a side bottom of the Premier League on just two points.
“Edwards was a candidate for the Wolves role after Vitor Pereira was sacked on November 2nd, following a 10-game winless start to the Premier League season.”
