The former RKC Genk of Belgium top scorer blamed bad luck for Wolves’ 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace on Saturday and declared that Edward has brought a new winning mentality into the squad.

“Since he came in, he’s spoken with not just the players, but almost everybody at the club. He’s given us that confidence and he’s shown us what he wants from us, how he wants to play, and the belief he has in us,” the towering striker eulogised.

Arokodare further revealed that the new gaffer keeps motivating the players with assurances that he feels the pinch with them and is ready to stand by them all through the raging storm.

“He’s let us know that he’s going to be there for us, he’s going to fight for us and we just have to reward him and reward the fans that have stopped with us from the start of the season to now.

“(We should) also reward ourselves for the hard work that we’ve put in since the start of the season and try to get a win,”Arokodare, who is yet to score fot Wolves in the EPL, but has two in the Carabao Cup.
