Three-time African badminton champion, Anuoluwapo Opeyori, has expressed his determination to participate in the upcoming 2023 Indonesia International Challenge, scheduled to be held at the Jatim International Expo Convention Centre from October 17 to 22.

This announcement comes after Opeyori faced challenges with obtaining visas for previous international tournaments, causing him to miss out on several competitions.
The Nigerian badminton star, who recently reached the quarter-finals of the 2023 Lagos International Classics last month, revealed his setbacks in attending the 2023 Guatemala International Challenge due to visa complications.
Additionally, he was unable to compete in the 2023 Belgian International Classics and the 2023 Peru Challenge, attributing these difficulties to transit visa issues and the challenges faced by holders of green passports in securing visas.
Anuoluwapo Opeyori remains optimistic about his participation in the forthcoming Indonesia International Challenge, provided he can successfully obtain the required visa.
