Nigerian-born former world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Olaseni Oluwafemi Joshua is set to quickly return to training after his holiday in Oman, as he turns focus on a date in July for his return to the ring.

Sports247reports that ‘AJ’ has been mourning, as he took a long spell out of training, after the fatal accident he survived but lost two of his closest friends in Ogun State on December 29th, and he is now ready to resume daily drills.
This has been revealed by Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, who confirmed that the London 2012 Olympics gold medalist will return to the ring in July, but it will not be against fellow-British icon and rival, Tyson Fury.
Hearn told The Sportsman: “(AJ was) due to fight in March, then fight Tyson Fury. That’s not happening anymore. He won’t be fighting Tyson Fury next. We’ve really not had any solid plans to announce what’s next.
“The focus for Anthony Joshua is to get back into training camp. He’s not ready to go back into training camp, physically but it’s getting closer. I think there’s nothing more that he wants at the moment than to return to training camp.
“It’s where he loves to be. Really, I think July is the time to return. We are looking at multiple options around the world for that potential return, and hopefully that will be in the next couple of weeks.”
This comes barely 24 hours after the 36-year Joshua got the best of his holiday in Oman, where he was spotted taking a helicopter ride, as he continued his battle to overcome the deaths of Sina Ghami and Latif ‘Latz’ Ayodele.
After recently having their names tattooed on his shoulder, Joshua has decided to take a holiday in the Middle Easy and has now shared footage of himself peeping out of a helicopter.
‘AJ,’ who bought a £1.2m penthouse in Oman before his controversial fight with American social media influencer, Jake Paul, posed with two fingers in the air, as he looked out across the desert with another chopper in view.
A report by The Sun further revealed, “Joshua secured the Sky Palace, a 15,300 square foot penthouse in the new Park Lane 101 development in Sultan Haitham City, marking a first investment in Oman.
“The new property boasts 360-degree panoramic views, as well as a private boxing gym built specifically for the British fighter. It will see him become a resident and investor in phase two of the Yenaier Residences development.
“AJ, who reportedly has a net worth of £195m, is an astute businessman and investor. He has already built a sizeable property portfolio; and said he is proud to be an early investor in what will become a truly world-class address.”
Joshua added, “Discipline, community, and long-term thinking have shaped everything I do in and out of the ring. Yenaier represented those same principles.”
