Nigerian-born former world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Olaseni Oluwafemi Joshua has received a special commendation from a tattoo company he recently patronised in London.

Sports247 reports that ‘AJ’ visited the company to get a tattoo on his shoulder depicting the images of his two friends, Sina Ghami and Latif ‘Latz’ Ayodele, who died during a recent accident in Ogun State.
Joshua survived the crash but his close associates died after the SUV they were all travelling in struck a truck that was parked by the roadside on December 29th, and he now has their names tattooed on his arm.
The former two-time world champion, who already had a tattoo depicting Africa on his right bicep, now has the names LATZ and SINA inked underneath after his visit to the London-based tattoo parlour.
In response to his patronizing visit, the company known as ‘Fulham Tattoo’ posted two photos on Instagram and stated, “Huge thank you to two-time heavyweight champion of the world Anthony Joshua.
“(Thanks to him) for unexpectedly and unannounced walking through the door a few weeks ago for his first visit with us at Fulham Tattoo London… what a walk in!”
This comes few days after Joshua issued an emotional statement in honour of his late friends, while also promising to stick with their families for as long as he has breath running through his lungs.
Joshua stated, “I’ve lost people before, but I don’t think I’ve lost people throughout this journey that I’ve been on. It’s like you think I’m the big guy but I was walking with giants. Protected. I know what my duty is.
“They were my brothers, my friends, first and foremost. Then we became business partners, we became hustlers, we became generals, we became everything. We became housemates, who were living together.”
