Nigerian-born former world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Olaseni Oluwafemi Joshua has received a massive tip top defeat his fellow-British rival, Tyson Fury (The Gypsy King) in their highly expected clash later this year.
Sports247 gathered that the tip going in Joshua’s favour has come from his promoter, Eddie Hearn, who believes that the former two-time champ will get the better of his main rival, who is also an ex-tile holder in the heavyweight classification.
Hearn declared categorically that Joshua will topple Fury during their epic ‘British Battle,’ which has been tentatively scheduled to hold sometime in November, though an exact date and venue are yet to be disclosed for the long-awaited bout.
Incidentally, Joshua has been training alongside his former opponent and two-time conqueror, Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine, ahead of a comeback bout against Kristian Prenga of Albania on July 25th, heading into which Hearn believes his fighter will be well prepared to topple Fury.
“With his training camp with Usyk and the way he just seems and how focused he is, I just think that I’ve never been more confident that he wins the fight. But it’s not going to be easy because Fury’s a great competitor and a great fighter. Fury’s a tremendous fighter, very clever. I’ve just always felt that AJ beats Tyson Fury,” Hearn told Sky Sports.
