Alimosho U-15 Junior League Kicks Off In Lagos

The organizers have concluded all plans to commence U-15 Alimosho Junior Football League this morning at Adensen football pitch, LASU-Igando Road, Alimosho, Lagos.

Six academies are expected to feature in the league which organized by Alimosho Football Coaches Council.

In fixtures released by the organizers, group A consists of Sammy FA, Rotex FA, and Ola Stars Academy. Group B are made up of Divine Stars Academy, Amanze Academy, and Samjason Academy.

The action begins early this morning when Sammy FA confronts Rotex Academy as Divine Stars Academy faces Amanze Academy.

On Tuesday, Amanze Academy would battle Samjason Academy as Rotex Academy tackle Ola Stars Academy in the second match.

Action resumes on Wednesday when Ola Stars Academy face Sammy Academy as Samjason Academy go to war with Divine Stars Academy.

The semi-final and closing ceremony would hold on 24 and 27, December 2020 respectively.

The Chairman Technical Committee, Lanre Olojo said the league is to showcase the talents bestowed on the young lads assuring that there would be good officiating and maximum security during the league matches.

“ We want to test run the league and that is why we are using one center for the inaugural edition. The outcome of this competition would see if we can run home and away format in our next edition,” he said.

Olojo popularly known as Wenger cautioned club owners to present eligible players to the screening committee before their game and failure to do otherwise would attract sanction and fine.
