Alimosho Football Coaches Council Elect New Leaders

Alimosho Football Coaches Council recently elected its new executive leaders that would be in affairs of the council in the next four years.

Alimosho Football Coaches Council is among the four councils that conducted their elections recently and supervised by Lagos State Football Coaches at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.

All the new elected Alimosho Executive Council members were elected unopposed as Team Manager of Samjason Football Club, Samuel Uchenna Eke elected as leader, Noah Omotunde also elected as vice leader, Samuel Nwanorom returned as assistant secretary.

Toyin Shoyemi also emerged as treasurer, Alfred Unoke elected as financial secretary, Taiwo Eletu elected as social secretary, while Samuel Haruna also elected as Protocol as Akeem Aro returned as PRO

Speaking with sports247.ng, Eke expressed delight with the new elected council members and promised to work harmoniously to take the council to greater heights.

He also vowed that the newly elected members are committed to sponsor some coaches to refresher coaching courses and seminar saying that the council would also work with members to assist them in grooming players to their full potentials.

Eke who doubles as Chairman of Samjason Football Club boasted that the council under the former late leader, Ifeanyi Ikpo Moses organized successful Alimosho coaches football league noted that many players who played the league are currently playing premier league, NNL and outside the country.

Eke said the council has recorded some achievements in the last few years especially when the council orgainized league for the clubs that affiliated with the council.

“When i was the chairman of league management committee, we were able to orgainze successful league which produced some players to our premier league. Adams Olamilekan played our league for Samjason FC but now with Remo Stars and National U-20,Okechukwu Kalu who also passed through the league featured for Stade de Malian of Mali in CAF Champions league.

“We should not forget Ibrahim Oyawoyin from Kedge Sports went to Rangers international & CHAN Eagles and he is presently in Turkish top league and many others,”he said.
