The coaches of two leading grassroots football clubs in the Ikotun/Abaranje’/Igando axis have engaged in a battle of words ahead of what is expected to be an epic clash between their teams this Saturday.

Sports247 gathered that it promises to be a thrilling encounter when White Soccer Temple of Abaranje lock horns with Igando-based Heart of Lion in week four of the Alimosho Football Coaches Council (AFCC) U14 League.
The encounter, which is part of fixtures organized by the association of coaches in Alimosho local government, under the erudite leadership of Uchenna Samuel Eke, will kick-off 4pm at Community Primary School, near Ikotun, Lagos.
White Soccer Temple’s coach, Gbenga Oluwole said his boys, who have won two games and drawn one, are fully ready to stop Heart of Lion, whose handler, Afeez Afeez parried the opponents’ threat, saying his side will get all three points at stake.
Oluwole declared: “We have not lost our home matches since the league started, and I don’t see Heart of Lion as a threat. of course, it is going to be a tough match, but trust me, my boys are winning this one.”
Afeez countered, saying: “We are going to stop their unbeaten run, and we are not going there for a draw. I know it will be a tough game, but I am confident that my boys will come out victorious at the end of the game.”
