Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have further strengthened their technical department with the appointment of Ali Kandil, as the club intensifies preparations for the second half of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
The Lebanese-born coach brings valuable experience to the Oluyole Warriors, having previously served on the Ikorodu City FC technical bench alongside head coach Nurudeen Aweroro. During his time at Ikorodu City, Kandil was part of a backroom staff credited with tactical organization, player development, and competitive performances in domestic football.

Kandil’s arrival is viewed as a strategic move by Shooting Stars management to deepen the club’s technical capacity as the demands of the season increase. The former Ikorodu City FC coach is expected to contribute his technical insight, modern coaching ideas, and experience to support the existing setup. His role will focus on complementing the current coaching staff, enhancing training sessions, and helping players adapt to the tactical requirements needed for success in the second stanza of the league.
