The Nasarawa state FA Chairman, Alhaji Salisu Usman Galadima, graced the final match of the Engr. A. A Sule Inter Security Peace and Unity Cup in Lafia, marking a significant moment in football development in Nasarawa State.
The highly anticipated match saw FRSC FC emerge victorious over the Civil Defence Corps with a decisive 2-0 scoreline, securing the championship title in the tournament’s second edition.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to football within the state, Alhaji Salisu Usman Galadima was bestowed with a medal of honour.
Dr Emmanuel Akabe, the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, had the honour of presenting the prestigious award to the FA Chairman.
Additionally, Alhaji Galadima played a pivotal role alongside Dr. Akabe in the presentation ceremony, where they jointly awarded the coveted trophy to Mr. Peter Umaru of the Road Safety Corps, symbolizing the culmination of the tournament.
