Akin Odimayo Joins Tobi Adeyemo At Crawley Town In England’s League Two

The Nigerian-born pair of Akin Odimayo and Tobi Adeyemo will hope to uplift their new club, Crawley Town in England’s fourth-tier division, League Two, following their arrival in this month’s transfer window.

Sports247 reports that, while Adeyemo arrived at the start of the year, Odimayo’s move from Newport County came through over the past weekend, and the defender commenced training with the team on Monday.

Odimayo arrived at the end of his short-term deal with Newport and has now joined forces once again with Crawley’s experienced manager, Scott Lindsey, who the lanky defender previously played under at Swindon Town.

Odimayo signed an 18-month contract at Broadfield Stadium, where he links up with Adeyemo as well as two other new arrivals, Theo Vassell and Taylor Richards, with great expectations ahead of them.

The Nigerian-born duo and the other new arrivals at Crawley will now have to put in extra effort in order to turn around the team’s, as the club is currently placed 21st in League Two.
