The popularity of women’s football is being impacted by the collective efforts of the Aisha Folode led women’s football league board despite the none availability of facilities and resources. 

Recently women’s football has been getting more disciples across the world as evidenced by the innovation put in place by the head of women’s football league board in Nigeria.

According to research, the  Chairperson of the Women’s Football league, Aisha Falode is used to receiving commendations and constructive criticism from stakeholders wishing to join the crusade for women’s football development.

The Empress of tomorrow noted that her board is not interested in playing politics with the football future of Innocent female footballers, rather they are striving hard and working smart to consolidate on the gains at hand.

According to her, “It is a tricky one because the men’s league have been established now for so many years but in the last four years, there is an exponential growth in women’s football.

“The welfare of the players in their respective club sides is taken more seriously and the board always intervenes on behalf of the players when they are having issues with payment of salaries”.

Falode said she is not surprised by the demand for women’s football in Nigeria because her board has done well enough to light up the game.
