AIPS Conference Racism and Discrimination in sport: order of programme revealed

AIPS has revealed the order of programme for its upcoming conference “Racism and Discrimination in Sport” that will take place from September 28 to 29 on Zoom.us. On September 28, the discussion will address racism from different angles. The conference will first talk about racism in football, which will open the floor to a discussion about past and present instances of racial issue, thanks to the contributions of scholars and journalists. On the second day, discrimination will be analysed with a special focus on the gender issue through the respected opinions of advocates, journalists, athletes and institutions.

FORMAT The conference will take place on Zoom.us starting from 2 pm CET each day. For each day of the conference, the panels will last around 120 minutes. English will be the language of the event, but participants will have access, once again, to the simultaneous interpreting service Interprefy, which will offer translations in Spanish, French, and Arabic.
