Ahmed Musa to be quarantined for 14 days. Supports govt in fighting covid19

Super eagles captain Ahmed Musa has joined his voice to that of the federal government of Nigeria in fighting against the corona virus pandemic.

Musa who came into the country two days ago along with his Super Eagles team mate John Ogu from their base in Saudi Arabia via a private jet made his statement through a video on his instagram page as he is being quarantined. Ogu, as earlier reported by sports247 made a distress call to the federal government for the borders of Nigeria to be open on his twitter page.

Finally, they are home. Both Ahmed Musa and John Ogu will be quarantined in accordance with the guidelines of the NCDC. “Stay save please I am in 14 days quarantine, but home is home” he commented.

In his bid to support the federal government, Musa said “I support the effort of the federal government, the Nigerian Football Federation and FIFA for the fight against covid19. Please let’s obey the health rules by staying at home, washing our hands regularly and avoid crowded places. Please let’s stay home. Be safe.”

Musa, along with Ogu will be quarantined on arrival from abroad for the next 14 days as stipulated by the guidelines of the Nigeria Centre for Decease Control, NCDC against the spread of the corona virus.

665 cases have been recorded so far in Nigeria, with a death toll of 22. In a cheering news, 188 corona virus patients have totally recovered from the viral decease after couple of tests which came out negative.
