Ahmed Musa Denies Distributing Cars to Players and Officials Following GM Appointment

Super Eagles captain and newly appointed General Manager of Kano Pillars Football Club, Ahmed Musa, has refuted claims circulating on social media suggesting he distributed cars to players and officials of the club.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Musa described the reports as false and misleading, urging the public to rely on credible sources before disseminating information.

“It has come to my attention that false information is being circulated claiming that I distributed cars to players and officials following my appointment as General Manager of Kano Pillars Football Club. This claim is entirely untrue,” he stated.

Musa emphasized the importance of responsible journalism and social media usage, noting that the spread of unverified claims undermines both the club’s integrity and its leadership.

“I urge the public, media outlets, and individuals on social media to verify information from credible sources before sharing. Spreading unverified news not only misleads the public but also undermines the integrity of the club and its leadership,” he added.

Reaffirming his commitment to the growth and success of Kano Pillars, Musa said the club’s current focus is on building a strong, disciplined, and competitive team.

“Our focus remains on building a strong, disciplined, and successful team. Thank you for your understanding and continued support,” he concluded.

Musa was officially unveiled as Kano Pillars GM earlier this week and has since commenced a series of administrative and technical engagements aimed at repositioning the club.
