FC Porto of Portugal striker, Samuel Aghehowa is set to face a serious dilemma of choice in his transfer options this summer, as three English Premier League clubs – Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United – are in the hunt for his signature.

However, latest information out of Queensland has it on authority that Chelsea have moved one step ahead of their EPL rivals with a potentially tempting offer that could tip Aghehowa’s signature towards Stanford Bridge.
It was further revealed that Chelsea have reignited their interest in Aghehowa ahead of the summer transfer window, while Tottenham and Newcastle remain long-term admirers of the striker.
The revelation by TEAMtalk adds, “Chelsea have reportedly reignited their interest in FC Porto striker Samuel Aghehowa ahead of the summer transfer window.
“The 21-year-old came close to joining the Premier League side from former club Atletico Madrid back in 2024.
“Aghehowa then moved to Porto, where he has become one of the best strikers in Portugal, scoring 47 goals in his 76 games across all competitions.
“It’s understood that Liam Rosenior is pushing the club to sign a new number nine following a string of disappointing performances from Liam Delap.”
