AFRICAN KNOCKOUT: Battle Of Captains, Jubril The Weakest Lucky Loser? Okechi Brother’s Time Of Redemption, Basket Mouth vs Bakassi Ring Show off, See All About The Reality Show Week 6 Excitements

Previously on the African Knockout, it ended in the blood to conclude the common tournament and it’s a rollercoaster of emotions when wolves fight in the first quarter-finals and obstacle challenge tests both team and the light-hearted party gets completely out of control.

The next quarter-finals is off to an accelerating start as all hope is lost and a lifeline is handed out to the losers from the common tournament as both team captains, Richard Onem for team white wolves up against Segun Ogunnoiki of team Steel.

LUCKY LOSERS SECOND CHANCE

For them to announce the lucky loser is a highly spirited decision from Okechi Daniel as this gives him another chance and opportunity to come in and showcase himself as he admitted to losing his concentration and balance in the first fight he lost while promising to come out top in his next fight while picking at Jubril as his favorable opponent due to his capacity thereby ruling out other fighters who aren’t obvious in the same level with him.

“I feel good about the announcement because that’s what the competition is all about when you have a second chance to take a shot in a championship like this. The first round was really a very close fight for me before the injury if you keenly watched the match. If I have a second chance, I really like to meet Jubril,” Nanichima Igwe confessed from team steel.

Jude Okechi couldn’t hide his excitement over the announcement as he revealed that he never stopped training since he lost his match.

“I deserve another chance because circumstances couldn’t allow me who I am in the ring during my first fight, then Ambrose the military guy. If I can spare with him, I think I have to muscle out the beast within to defeat him, Jude Ezugwu declared.

Jibrin Inuwa-Baba lamented his injury a day after his fight coupled with the injuries before the fight, “toughest among the losers will be Daniel Ogechi. The guy is good, I respect him a lot because I saw his fight back in Edo State, he’s very good, and he’s an excellent striker so the thing is I need to destroy a man like that.”

“My last bout, I was hit too badly on the eye so it disturbed me a lot but at least am recovering very fast so I think I can still work with that.

Physically am okay, but the eye is kind of disturbing me, the eye was almost covered. I don’t have any opponent in mind, my mind is just give me anybody and I will just match with it,” Vureko Collins, team white wolf said.

“I lost concentration in my last fight dropping my hand forgetting that leg can come in on my head. Daniel Okechi will really give me a tough time if paired and army vs police will be an excitement to the fans, it will really be a great fight,” Godwin Ambrose joked.
