Former Super Eagles international, Friday Ekpo, has emphasized the importance of the Super Eagles controlling their fate in the upcoming AFCON group stage match against Guinea-Bissau.
Ekpo believes that securing the top spot in the group will provide the team with the advantage of facing a favorable opponent in the next stage.
Speaking ahead of the crucial match against Guinea-Bissau, Friday Ekpo remarked,
“The next stage of the competition is in our own hands. So now we can play, control the game, and make sure we do the same thing to win the game. If we can’t win, we make sure we don’t lose the game.”
