#AFCON23: Godfrey Oboabona Urges Super Eagles To Go All Out Against Angola in AFCON Clash

Former Super Eagles defender, Godfrey Oboabona, has emphasized the importance of the Nigerian national team giving their all in the upcoming AFCON quarterfinal clash against Angola.

Oboabona cautioned against underestimating the opposition and urged the Super Eagles to approach the match with full commitment.

“I believe we should go all out because the most important thing is the way you approach the game because Angola is undergulping the tournament. They are going to come out with 110 percent.

And we should believe if we go out with 100 percent, I believe we will conquer because we shouldn’t underrate the teams or say this is Angola; it is no country, stuff like that.

We should go out all out the way they will come to us. Like the way we went all out against Cameroon, I believe we can do more,” stated Oboabona.

Oboabona’s words reflect the need for the Super Eagles to maintain a high level of focus and intensity in their quest for success at the AFCON.

Acknowledging Angola’s determination and effort in the tournament, Oboabona emphasized that underestimating any team could be detrimental, especially at this crucial stage of the competition.

As Nigeria prepares to face Angola in the quarterfinals, Oboabona’s insights serve as a reminder of the challenges posed by seemingly smaller teams and the importance of approaching each match with the right mindset and determination.
