Besiktas of Turkey midfielder, Wilfred Onyinye Ndidi has declared that he and his colleagues in Nigeria’s national team, Super Eagles, know the task that lies ahead of them at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Sports247 reports that the former Genk of Belgium and Leicester City of England battler, who has been officially named the Super Eagles’ new captain, added that all hands are on deck to make Nigerians happy.
“We’ve had discussions with the players, and we all know the reason why we are here. We also look at the staff for support, and we are all in this together.
“We have regular discussions about the task ahead, and it’s very important that we’ll all be on the same page,” the Eagles’ new skipper admitted.
The product of Nath Boys FC of Ikeja Cantonment in Lagos added that all the players are also rising up to the challenge of compensating their fans for the disappointment of failing to qualify for the World Cup.
“It was sad missing out on the World Cup qualification, but this is another opportunity to correct the wrongs and put smiles on the faces of Nigerians.
“It’s not going to be an easy task, but we are really up for it. We know what’s ahead of us, and we look forward to enjoying it together,” Ndidi submitted.
