Sports247 reports that Talbi admitted the Tunisians cannot afford to take the Super Eagles for granted, hence the need for them to step up their efforts, adding that they will have to maintain tactical discipline and total focus.
The Lorient of France centre back, who previously played for Paris FC and Les Lilas of France, Espérance of Tunisia, Çaykur Rizespor of Turkey, Benevento of Italy and Rubin Kazan of Russia, also stressed the need for hard work.
He further told cafonline that, considering the better-quality players and richer pedigree that Nigeria has than The Cranes of Uganda, the Tunisians must step up their efforts in order to win Saturday’s fixture.
Talbi, who was born in France but moved to Tunisia at the age of 12, expatiated: “When we play against big teams, we give our best.
“To win this game, we need to trust ourselves and give everything we have. Everyone in the group must stay united and continue working.
“(We will play) as if this is our first game. We must protect our discipline, our concentration, and always give our best.”
