Nigeria booked their place in the Round of 16 in emphatic fashion, finishing top of Group C with a perfect nine points, following victories over Tanzania, Tunisia and Uganda.
The Super Eagles scored freely in the group stage and showed depth and adaptability, rotating the squad while maintaining momentum.
Mozambique, on the other hand, advanced as one of the best third-placed teams, earning their spot after a resilient group-stage campaign. The Mambas have impressed with their discipline and organisation and will be hoping to spring a surprise against one of the tournament favourites.
The fixture promises to be a high-stakes contest, as Nigeria look to continue their title push and edge closer to a fourth AFCON crown, while Mozambique aim to extend their historic run in the competition.
With knockout football now in play, there is no margin for error — and the Super Eagles will be fully aware that every detail counts as the road to continental glory intensifies in Fès.
