AFCON 2025: Social Media Influencer Teetalks Toseen Warns – ‘I’m Scared Super Eagles Will Play Draw With Tunisia’

A fast-rising female social media influencer and football fan, TeeTalks Toseen has expressed concern over the possibility of the Super Eagles playing a draw with Tunisia in their next game at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Although the ebullient TikTok celebrity disclosed that she hopes for a repeat of her 2-1 prediction that came to pass in the Eagles’ opening group game on Tuesday, she admitted that Saturday’s match will be tougher.

Nonetheless, TeeTalk Toseen, who referred to herself as a passionate fan of Manchester Unuted of England and Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal, gave the Eagles thumbs-up for their performance against Tanzania.

She eulogised, “The Super Eagles played very well on Tuesday. Of course, we thought they would score more goals but, unfortunately, they could not.

“So, for Saturday’s game versus Tunisia, I think they just have to increase their momentum. That’s where they will face a tough competitor.”

She then gave a concise analytical breakdown of the odds Nigeria will face against the Tunisians, who stand top of the log, following a 3-1 victory over Uganda a few minutes after the Eagles defeated Tanzania 2-1.

The amiable content creator and football zealot continued, “Tunisia won their game 3-1, and they are on top of the table. We already knew Tanzania would be an easy game … but was it really easy? I’ll say yes-no.

“This means our Eagles just have to increase their momentum for the next game. They have to be sharp in front of the goal and, hopefully, they will get a better result.

“But, I think the coach needs to work on his substitutions. There were some players who stayed too long in the game versus Tanzania.

“I don’t think those players should have stayed on that long. So, the coach has to make substitutions way earlier.”

Toseen also looked at each of the Nigerian players individually and hazarded a guess at the likely starting line up versus Tunisia, for which she surprisingly left out Ademola Lookman and Bright Osayi-Samuel

She reasoned at length, “I think someone like Akor Adams was a good addition in that game. I just think Eric Chelle needs to sharpen his substitutions and make sure he gives his players more ‘ginger.’

“His tactics, in my view, worked well, up until that game against DR Congo, which we all knew was going to be a tough one. All the same, I think he’s doing a great job.

“So, for the game versus Tunisia, I will go for Akor and (Victor) Osimhen again upfront, with (Samuel) Chukwueze behind them, because he has been boiling since joining Fulham.

“Before now, I wasn’t really impressed with him in Nigeria’s games, but he has been in form recently, and we have to capitalise on that.

“There should also be (Alex) Iwobi, of course, and (Wilfred) Ndidi in the middle and Moses Simon on the right wing, while the backline should have (Semi) Ajayi, scorer of that brilliant goal on Tuesday.

“Then Calvin Bassey should be there in the centre with (Bruno) Onyemachi and Zaidu (Sanusi) on the side and (Stanley) Nwabali in goal.”

She concluded by warning that it will be a tough encounter to scale through, hence her fear that it might end on a draw, though she would prefer Nigeria winning by a slim margin scoreline.

“I know it’s going to be difficult. So, they have to be very, very dogged … sharp in attack and alert in defending. That goal we conceded against Tanzania was such a cheap one. It was due to lack of focus.

“So, once we correct all those lapses, we should get a narrow win against Tunisia … maybe 1-0 or 2-1, who knows? I predicted 2-1 against Tanzania, and it happened.

“The same thing may happen on Saturday against Tunisia … but I’m also scared that it may end in a draw,” TeeTalks Toseen concluded with a tone of uncertainty.
