Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has declared that Nigeria are only focused on themselves as they prepare for the knockout phase of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Speaking from the team’s camp in Fès, the Atalanta attacker said the Super Eagles are determined to build on their perfect group-stage run and are not intimidated by any opponent left in the competition.
Lookman stressed that winning a major tournament requires mental strength and the willingness to face the best teams head-on, noting that Nigeria must be ready to beat anyone placed in front of them.
The winger added that confidence within the squad remains high after winning all three group games, but insisted the team understands that knockout football demands even higher concentration and discipline.
Nigeria will face Mozambique in the Round of 16, with the Super Eagles aiming to maintain momentum as they chase a fourth AFCON title.
