Brentford of England midfielder, Frank Ogochukwu Onyeka has served up a hint that the Super Eagles will maintain continuity in their tactics for Tuesday’s game versus Uganda at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Sports247 gargered that, as the Eagles get set for their last group match in Fes, Morocco, Onyeka declared that they will still go all out for three months, despite having already qualified for the round of 16 with two victories.

A 2-1 opening group win against Tanzania was followed by a tensive 3-2 conquest of Tunisia but, while many observers believe the Eagles will take their feet off the pedal for their ‘mere formality’ last group fixture versus Uganda, Onyeka stressed that they will give their best efforts.
He affirmed, “We are still going to play the same way we played against Tunisia. We are not going to drop, and we’ll keep going at the right tempo; but we’ll take it a game at a time.
“Our game plan worked really well against Tunisia. The way we planned the game worked for us. We played tight, and we didn’t give them any chance to hold the ball. That’s what made a difference.”
Although Onyeka admitted he would love to leave Fes because of the cold weather there, he disclosed that the Eagles were not bothered with how a large number of the fans supported Tunisia in Saturday’s game and concluded that they are now focused on how to defeat Uganda.
“The opponents’ fans don’t shake us. Especially for me, any time I come to the team, I always stay focused on playing to the coach’s instructions.
“I think of what I can give to the team in various departments; and I think that’s the same for all the other players. Nothing changes in our focus for victory from each game.
“Nothing will change when we face Uganda on Tuesday,” reassured Onyeka, who was born in Benin City, but got his career breakthrough at FC Ebedie of Sagamu, from where he moved to FC Midtjylland of Denmark.
