AFCON 2023: CAF President Set To Sign Historic Host Country Agreement With Other Key Officials Involvement

The president of CAF, Dr Patrick Motsepe is set to sign the host country agreement for the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations which will be hosted by Cote D’Ivoire alongside key executives tomorrow.

The Country agreement will be between the Ivorian government – a significant milestone in the countdown to the event.

Motsepe will be joined by CAF Vice Presidents, football leaders from the Region and CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo-Omba with the signing ceremony of the Host Country agreement set to be held at Sofitel hotel.

Previously, CAF and Cote d’Ivoire delegates had held a successful TotalEnergies AFCON 2023 three-day preparatory workshop in Cairo, Egypt as they look to have a successful outing.

Day one of the workshop covered Competitions, Commercial and Marketing, Telecommunications, TV.

Other topics covered include Hospitality, Medical, Safety and Security, Ticketing, Finance, Legal, Transportation and logistics and many other functional areas.
