Crown FC midfielder, Oluwatobi Promise Adeyi has a dream of becoming the next big thing to happen in Nigerian football.
The midfielder has his sight firmly set on reaching the height attained by his football idol, Luka Modric.
There are similarities between the Croatian legend and the budding Oyo State born talented midfielder.
Those attributes Adeyi believed puts him in good stead to achieve his football ambition.
“Modric is my fooball idol, he is the best player in the World. The things I see him do with the ball always make me happy and I’ve been taken inspiration from the way he controls the game which is helpful, I will continue to work hard to be like him or even better than him,” he said.
The prolific midfielder singled himself out among Crown attackers scoring five goals in the League.
The young promising playmaker said he intend to have a timeout at any top clubs in NPFL just as he’s not planning to stay long in Nigerian League, as his target is to play in either Spain or England.
“I’m interested in playing in any NPFL sides, its really a good platform to develop my game but I’m willing to move out for a bigger opportunity, either England or Spain,” Adeyi said.
