Adepoju calls for support for NFF

Following the victory of Amaju Pinnick in the last NFF election in Katstina, former Nigeria international Mutiu Adepoju has stated that the future of Nigerian football is bright because of the leadership qualities of the former Delta Sports Commission Chairman.

He called on all football stakeholders in the country to join hands with the newly elected executive board to succeed.

“If you should consider the achievements of Amaju Pinnick as the President of the NFF, you will agree with me that he deserves another term in office,” the former Real Sociedad midfielder explained to Sports247.ng.

“It was no surprise that the delegates decided to hand him another tenure in office at the Polls. He (Pinnick) deserves the victory recorded in Katsina.”

Adepoju continued, “The future of football in Nigeria is safe and bright under the leadership of Amaju Pinnick. He is man of substance. His track records speaks volume.”

“The current NFF board can’t do things in isolation. They need the support of stakeholders and well meaning Nigerians to fulfil their mandate.”
