Ademola Lookman’s New Coach Gets Expert Advice: Man Management Is Key

Super Eagles’ winger, Ademola Lookman’s new coach at Atalanta of Italy, Raffaele Palladino has been issued with an ominous piece of advice regarding ‘man management’ in his relationship with the Serie A club’s players, Sports247 reports.

The cogent advice comes apparently as a veiled reference to the physical confrontation Atalanta’s immediate past coach, Ivan Juric, had with Lookman, just a week before he was sacked by the club’s management.

Lookman’s new coach may jolly well now have to watch his actions and interactions with the lads he will work with, as a former coach of the Bergamo-based club, Bortolo Mutti inferred that players have to be managed with caution.

Mutti added that he was not happy hearing about the sack of Juric, but noted that a chain of bad results compounded the Croatian tactician’s woes and urged the new man in charge to do better.

Mutti told TMW: “Raffaele is young but experienced. He did very well both at Monza and Florence: I was actually surprised he left Florence after they finished sixth.

“It’s a fitting and fair fit: Palladino is full of ideas and brings enthusiasm, and managing the entire team will be crucial to getting back on track.”
