Lookman, who previously played for Charlton Athletic, Everton, Fulham and Leicester City of England as well as RB Leipzig of Germany, gained lots of support from observers in the wake of Juric’s uncouth conduct.
As if on cue, the management of Atalanta decided to sack Juric, thereby putting an end to his laborous four months in charge, after Gian Piero Gasperini left to join AS Roma.
Out of 11 Serie A games under Juric, Atalanta got just two wins, lost two and had seven draws, which left them 13th on the log.
Consequently, Lookman will meet former Monza and Fiorentina coach, Palladino on his return to Atalanta after his mission in Morocco.
The report out of Italy added that Lookman’s new coach will arrive on a two-year deal worth €2m-a-year.
